A few strings on a wooden box. Brazilian music has always been deeply evocative for me. The melodies are as rich and complex as works by Bach or Chopin, yet seem to be inspired by the drums. The rhythmic structures provide a host of opportunities for fascinating interactions. The colorful harmonies of Brazilian music brighten my life. This soulfulness keeps me out of trouble.
